What is the weight limit of the Pikler Triangle?

Although we haven’t yet tested it to destruction it comfortably supports 100kg.

Does the Pikler range meet the stringent safety regulations ?

All the products from the Pikler Range are CE marked and are designed and manufactured in the UK in accordance with: Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and EN71: 1, 2, 3 and 8″ and we have produced a Declaration of Conformity accordingly.

How safe is the Pikler Inspired range?

Aside from being built to the highest standards a great deal of attention has been placed on all details of the design.

For example, we use a larger 35mm diameter rung for all our triangles, ladders and arches where all others on the market employ smaller diameters. This offers both increased confidence in its inherent strength and also offers a much easier to grip hand hold.

All our finishes from the paints to the lacquers are food safe – perfect for environments with the youngest of babies in.

How much space do the Pikler Products take up

All the products have their dimensions clearly stated and many should have diagrams to highlight them. Here are a couple more diagrams to give you a better idea of how much space they take up and how they might fit in your nursery:

What is the Pikler range made of

The Pikler range is responsibly sourced from sustainable timber. We use the incredibly strong Birch Ply to form the frames and 35mm diameter solid pine dowels to form the rungs. You can be sure that both your children and the environment are safe with the Pikler inspired range.

Can we take our Ligneus PLAY products outside?

Unless specified our products have been designed prmarily for indoor use. You can of course use them outside if you wish and on beautiful summer’s day they can be very much enjoyed in garden.

Do bare in mind that they are primarily for indoor use and should not be left outside exposed to the elements as over time exposure will comprimise their integrity.

When returning them inside a wipe down with a damp cloth to keep them clean is always advised.

How do I clean my products?

As we’ve mentioned when returning products inside we always recommend a damp cloth. This is encourage regularly as cleaning will not only inprove health and safety but also increase the life span of your products.

For a thorough hygienic clean we recommend using Nilaqua Surface spray. This is a non toxic, alcohol free sanitiser that is also effective against Coronavirus. This cleaner does not harm either the wood or the finishes we use. It is also used & recommended by the NHS.
